Paddle the waters of the Winooski River

   PaddleSurf Champlain offers unique river paddling experiences on Vermont’s Winooski River, which flows into Lake Champlain between the City of Burlington and Town of Colchester. Our guided and self-guided kayak and paddleboard tours launch from the Colchester Point Access Area, a short float to the mouth of the river.

   This trip flows through two distinct environments: You’ll start on the calm, protected waters and stunning bird habitat of the lower Winooski River, then enter the expanse of Lake Champlain with beaches on both sides and views of the Adirondack mountains across the water. Turn around when you are ready for a short paddle back upriver to the launch point.

SELF-GUIDED TOUR COST: $35 per person
